Yes — all employees must log into the Enrollment Portal and complete enrollment each year, even if you're not making any changes to your current coverage.
Yes. You can cover your legal spouse and children up to age 26 (or older if they are disabled and unable to support themselves).
🩺 Medical & Direct Primary Care
You start with Direct Med Clinic for most routine care. The membership fee is covered by Eldridge Electric, so you get unlimited visits with no copays. Labs, stitches, X-rays, and common prescriptions are also covered at no cost to you.
If Direct Med refers you, your care is covered at 100%. If you go on your own to a First Health in-network provider, you'll have a copay — and you'll pay deductible and coinsurance for things like surgeries or hospital stays.
💊 Pharmacy
Most prescriptions go through Direct Med or US-Rx Care, where over 1,100 common drugs are fully covered. If you need a brand-name medication, you may be able to get it free through ScriptSourcing.
💼 Life, Disability & Voluntary Benefits
Yes. Eldridge Electric provides basic life and AD&D coverage at no cost to you. You'll need to designate a beneficiary in the Enrollment Portal.
Short-Term Disability (STD) helps replace your income. You receive 60% of your weekly earnings, starting after a 7-day waiting period.
Long-Term Disability (LTD) kicks in after 90 days and pays 60% of your monthly income while you recover, up to Social Security retirement age.
It pays you cash if you get injured — broken bones, ER visits, ambulance rides, etc. — to help cover extra costs your main insurance doesn't pick up.
